Andrew F. Torres together with Kenneth M. Kim successfully presented their thesis studies at the 1st CS Conference held in the Institute of Biology, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. Andrew has been chosen as the sole representative of the MSI to present (a part of) his master's thesis with the title "Rarity of the "common" coral Pocillopora damicornis in the Philippines", which was recently published at Coral Reefs (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00338-018-1729-3). Additionally, Andrew presented his poster entry at the conference entitled "Zooxanthellae diversity in Philippine corals: Biogeographic variability in the Pocilloporidae", whereas Kenneth shared the results of his study entitled "Cryptic Genetic Diversity In Stichopus cf. horrens: Reproductive Isolation Revealed By Microsatellite And SNP Markers".
